Position Title: Loans Officer
Job Summary:
Responsible for supervising the activities related to loan implementation and loan administration from various Branches and Lending Units. Approves the implementation and ensure accuracy of loan transactions. Coordinates on all errors and/or exceptions noted in accordance with the existing guidelines and procedures of the Bank. Directs and plans the overall activity or operation of the unit being supervised for an effective and efficient operation.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
- Manages workload of each personnel in the unit to ensure proper distribution and maximize capacity
- Approves Loan Releases, Renewals, Interest and Principal Payments, Penalties, Adjustments Sheets posted via the various system of the unit (Mosaic Tellering System, Commercial Loan System, Integrated Loan system/Loans Processing Facility, Auxiliary Loans Processing System & Employee Financial Assistance Database).
- Approves/authorizes the implementation of loan bookings, renewals, restructuring, extension, payments, repricing, adjustments, issuance of cashier’s checks, Debit/Credit Memos, SRTs, and tickets pertaining to loan transactions.
- Performs system override to approve posting of transactions.
- Ensure that all posting media generated by the unit are properly approved and signed in accordance with the approved signing authority or limits.
- Conducts meetings to update/inform the staffs on current issues & discusses measures on problems encountered.
- Prepares various reports that may be required by the Head or the Management.
- Performs other related functions that may be assigned from time to time.
