Operations Integration & Quality Specialist

Job Summary 

 

The Junior Operations Specialist works under the general direction of the Shift Supervisor, and is responsible in ensuring that all his tasks and the tasks of the Computer Operators within the same shift are completed.  

 

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

 

•    Accurate and on-time execution of all scheduled and adhoc batch processes during his assigned shift

•    Monitor production systems, which may include wide area networks and ATM/POS terminals

•    Prompt intervention on exceptional system events or downtime that require corrective action

•    Accurate data center operation, ensuring that control and documentation processes (e.g. compliance to checklists) are strictly adhered to 

•    Escalate unexpected events to the appropriate support parties, and notifying/escalating such events to the appropriate ITG senior officers

•    Proper turnover of any unfinished tasks, to the next personnel on duty 

•    Oversees that all tasks assigned to the Computer Operators within his shift are completed without any issue.

•    Submits his daily checklist of completed tasks to his Supervisor 

•    Preparation of incident reports detailing operations-related problems

•    Prepares reports for management on processing statistics, equipment performance, network up/down time and related items.

•    Safeguards and monitors the health of the equipment endorsed to COD.  Escalates encountered problems to the appropriate support personnel and/or monitors the status of the problems until resolved.

•    Participates in planned and unplanned disaster recovery activities.

•    Performs other functions that may be assigned from time to time.

Job Description

Directly reports to the Monitoring and Control Department Head, under ITG – Operations.  The Ops Integration & Quality Specialist shall be responsible for the implementation, configuration, and onboarding process to monitoring tools, transition of new systems and services to Monitoring & Control Department (MCD), manage the systems and tools owned by MCD, perform quality assurance and improvement programs.  These responsibilities further extend to creating policies and procedures, where needed, in coordination with IT Management Division – Process Excellence Department.

With at least 3 years’ experience in JAVA, / C# / .NET (Python is a plus) Exposure to implementation, configuration, and onboarding process to monitoring tools, transition of new systems and services

 

 

Programming Languages:  JAVA, / C# / .NET (Python is a plus)

d. AIOPS (Artificial Intelligence for Operations) - Dynatrace or Application Dynamics
