Position Title: Process and Productivity Improvement Officer 

Job Summary:

Drive end-to-end process analysis, reporting rationalization, and workflow redesign initiatives across the sector to improve operational efficiency, reduce manual workload, and enhance reporting effectiveness.

The role is responsible for identifying improvement opportunities, designing future-state processes, and supporting implementation to ensure sustainable operational simplification and performance improvement. 

Role Exposure:

1. Operational and Reporting Analysis

Develop and maintain inventories of reports, activities, and workflows across the sector

Review report usage, relevance, frequency, and business value

Conduct workload, reporting, and activity assessments to identify inefficiencies, duplication, and manual work

Perform time and activity studies across selected functions

Analyze operational trends, bottlenecks, and recurring pain points

 

2. Process Review and Redesign

Lead documentation and assessment of current-state workflows and operational processes

Identify opportunities for process simplification, workload optimization, and improved operational efficiency

Develop future-state workflows, reporting frameworks, and operational improvement proposals

Drive reporting rationalization and workflow simplification initiatives across functions

Recommend enhancements to management information flows and operational processes

Quantify expected benefits and business impact of proposed improvements

3. Stakeholder Engagement and Facilitation

Facilitate working sessions with business units, report owners, and stakeholders to validate operational issues and requirements

Drive alignment on improvement opportunities, dependencies, and implementation priorities

Coordinate cross-functional discussions to support redesign initiatives

Present insights, recommendations, and proposals to management and leadership groups

 

4. Implementation Support and Governance

Support execution of approved process improvement and redesign initiatives

Track progress of initiatives, including workload reduction, efficiency gains, and simplification outcomes

Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of action items and sprint activities

Maintain documentation of assessments, working papers, and implemented improvements

Prepare management updates and governance reports on initiative status and outcomes

 

5. Continuous Improvement and Documentation

Document current-state and future-state processes, methodologies, and tools

Capture and maintain records of realized efficiencies and operational improvements

Contribute to the development of frameworks, templates, and standards for process improvement

 

6.  Additional Responsibilities:

Perform other related duties as assigned to support the overall success of the Division and Bank.

 

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accountancy, Finance, Economics, Industrial Engineering, MIS, or any related field; Master’s Degree is an advantage.
  • At least 6–10 years of relevant experience in Banking Operations, Finance, MIS/Reporting, Business Analysis, Process Improvement, Operational Excellence, or Transformation initiatives.
  • Exposure to Lean Six Sigma, process improvement, workflow redesign, project management, or analytics.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, process mapping, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of reporting and workflow tools is an advantage.
  • Experience in PMO, consulting, operational redesign, or transformation projects is preferred.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, PMP, Agile) are a plus.
