REQUIREMENTS ANALYST
Job Summary
The Requirements Analyst works under the general direction of the Department Head or Section Head.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
- Collaborates with developers to confirm feasibility of the application changes and explore other options that will best address the business need and objectives. · Provides support for UAT and implementation when needed.
- Assess the real system problems needing resolution during user acceptance test versus user problem.
- Gathers and analyzes recurring requests data on a periodic basis that will be used by Service Management departments for assessment of feasibility of conversion to service catalogue.
- Review submitted requests and requirements for conversion into service catalogue. Coordinates with other Service Management department or ITG Division to complete the definition of the service catalogue and update the Service Catalogue Manual accordingly.
- Identify process improvements and initiate roll-out for adoption within Service Management Division.
- Participates in service transition activity planning. Reviews submitted service transition checklist of applications by other IT Delivery units and oversees the activities and acceptance by the receiving Service Management department.
- Prepares reports to support Service Management department to manage the delivery of application support, maintenance and ticket resolution.
- Reviews the documentation outputs of other Requirements Analysts where needed or assigned.
- Trains and guides, as needed, other Requirements Analysts on the Department and Division function, guidelines and processes to be followed, application functionality and features and related business processes.
- Performs other related functions that may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications:
With at least 3 years’ experience or plus in programming languages such as but not limited to:
· Relational database management systems - SQL, Oracle PL/SQL, MySQL, MS SQL
· Web Development/UI: ASP.NET, VB.NET, Java/Javascript/JS/J2EE, HTML
· Digital Technologies: iOS, Android programming
· Middleware: Websphere, Weblogic, Oracle ESB 11g / 12c
· Other programming or scripting languages: C#, C++, Unix scripting, PowerShell, Python
· Others: ReactJS, NodeJS, Redis, keycloak, Mulesoft
