Sales Trader (Institutional Sal

Job Summary:

  • Services foreign exchange, fixed income and derivatives product requirements of clients (i.e. responding to inquiries, quotation, negotiation, documentation and closing of transactions)
  • Works with relationship managers or account officers in Institutional Banking Sector as Treasury product provider to their managed accounts
  • Deepens customer relationship to sustain or increase Treasury products wallet share of assigned customer portfolio.
  • Expand number of dealing customers and/or products dealt to grow business.
  • Conducts marketing calls directly or jointly with Relationship Managers
  • Provides customers market updates and forecasts, present product briefs and financial solutions to generate business volume
  • Prepares client call reports, progress and market feedback reports for regular submission to the Department and Division Head
  • Coordinates with the relevant Treasury desk for applicable rates and spots transactions with the designated trader or with Structuring Department to close position
  • Assists in after-sales requests of clients
  • Ensure that all activities and transactions are compliant with internal policies and regulations
  • Files, safe keeps and maintains customer files
  • Performs other related functions that may be assigned from time to time

Qualifications:

  • At least five years of relevant experience in Treasury, Markets Sales or Trust Sales
  • Preferably a licensed Certified Treasury Professional or Fixed Income Market Salesman
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • Amenable to work in a fast-paced, competitive environment
