Position Title: Strategic Support Officer
Job Summary:
- Responsible for developing strategic and operational enhancements to the Group’s approach and methodology,
- Assists the Group Head in carrying out the conduct of examination and overall assessment activities
- Serve as an alternate reviewer to the Division Heads, supporting the IAG Head in ensuring quality outputs
Role Exposure:
- Understands the strategic direction of the Bank and assists in identifying and developing the impact of such on the objectives and responsibilities of IAG
- Leads and performs periodic and continuing reviews of IAG’s current policies and practices
- Assesses emerging risks and changes in regulatory and operating landscape that may impact
- Assists in managing the projects or activities necessary to develop and revise existing policies and practices in line with the strategic initiatives of the Bank and the Group
- Works with the IAG Head and other relevant resources
- Supervises and monitors implementation/execution of audit activities
- Directs, guides, develops, motivates, and evaluates performances of officers and staff
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Must possess competencies in audit planning, internal control evaluation and risk assessment, financial audit, operations audit and reporting of audit results
- With excellent analytical, oral and written communication, interpersonal, presentation, organizational and leadership skills
- With at least ten years of experience in the regular audit (internal or external) of a universal or commercial bank, three years of which as department head, audit manager, audit director or its equivalent
