Position Title: System Support Assistant
Job Summary:
Provides administrative and technical assistance for the overall operational needs of the Division and the Group in terms of :
- Systems and information technology
- Policies and procedures development
- Special projects
- Files and records / Reports & Interoffice Communications
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
A. Systems and Information Technology

- Participate in the testing and implementation of appropriate specifications for automation of relevant systems procedures to ensure that any system change meets the required regulatory requirements and target operational efficiency.
- Handle user acceptance testing of new systems or enhancements/fixes to existing systems
- Assist in the review of existing computerized systems, verify compliance with policies and regulations and coordinate development of system enhancements.
- Assist in the conduct of post review of automated systems implemented and verify effectivity at end-user.
B. Policies and Procedures Development
- Handle update of the Department’s desk manuals
- Assist in the review of new or amended policy and procedural guidelines as required by foreign offices or other units in the Group.
C. Special Projects
- Participate in project team meetings, system testing as may be required.
- Assist in coordinating SSD’s project activities and delivery of project requirements.
F. Files & Records / Reports & Interoffice Communications
- Manage the proper safekeeping of the Division’s files & records.
- Prepare reports and interoffice communications as required.
- Perform other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of BS Information Technology
- At least 2-3 years of relevant working experience
- Must have a pro-active approach to problem solving and the ability to meet tight deadlines
