Position Title: System Support Assistant

Job Summary:

 

  • Provides administrative and technical assistance for the overall operational needs of the Division and the Group in terms of:

 

  • Research and data gathering
  • Preparation of feasibility studies and proposals
  • Preparation of policies and procedures, flowcharts and presentations
  • Participation in the Group’s projects and programs
  • Preparation of reports and inter office communications
  • Compilation and maintenance of files and records


Role Exposure:

 

A. Research and Data Gathering

  • Conducts research and prepare necessary reports on the following:

 

  • Potential areas for expansion of overseas branches and subsidiaries
    • demographics
    • market profiles & trends
    • remittance & bank products
    • competitors, etc.
  • Local & foreign country requirements, regulations and operations standards
  • Global trends in the following areas:
    • remittance
    • banking
    • investments
    • information technologies, etc.
  • Industry weather trends & statistics

 

B. Feasibility Studies & Proposals

  • Assists in the following activities / functions:

 

  • Preparation of business plans and budgets relative to proposals for network expansion / rationalization

 

  • Documentation of requirements for approval by local and foreign country regulatory bodies

 

C. Policies & Procedures

  • Prepares and continually update the Department’s desk manuals; as well as other units in the Group as may be required.

 

  • Drafts policy and procedural guidelines as required by foreign offices or other units in the Group.

 

  • Defines work processes through the use of flowcharts and other tools.

 

  • Monitors updating of operations manuals of foreign offices.

 

D. Special Projects & Programs

  • Assists in the documentation of product development initiated by the Group

 

  • Participates in team meetings, system testing, post-review studies, etc. as may be required.

 

  • Assists in coordinating SSD’s project activities and delivery of project requirements.

 

E. Files & Records / Reports & Interoffice Communications

  • Prepares / generates / compiles Group accomplishment reports to be readily available for management information.

 

  • Manages the proper safekeeping of the Division’s files & records.

 

  • Prepares reports and interoffice communications as required.

 

Performs other related functions that may be assigned from time to time.

 

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of any Business- related courses
  • At least 2-3 years of relevant working experience
  • Must have a pro-active approach to problem solving and the ability to meet tight deadlines
