Position Title: Technology Support Officer
Job Summary:
Responsible for the development, enhancement, implementation, support and maintenance of FMS application systems. He will also serve as the liaison between the unit and ITG for all IT related concerns.
Role Exposure
• Ensures that all FMS system related issues affecting BAUs are addressed on a timely manner and if necessary or needed fixes are escalated to vendors and monitored effectively for closure.
• Provide support on all system enhancements/projects to improve productivity and efficiency.
• Monitors and ensure that outstanding projects are tracked and issues are addressed by concerned parties for completion.
• Provide support to all system generated reports required for internal /external audits, Regulatory reports including AML.
• Provide support for all AML related data requirements.
• Initiate enhancement projects needed in FMS for the development of operational efficiency across FMS units.
• Provide support to all new static data set up in OPICS to ensure efficient data input, report generation and system processing of all transactions.
• Reviews all external system applications connectivity and liaise with info sec/ITG to ensure compliance to our security standards.
• Reviews all critical system/application in FMS to ensure that these all within acceptable system usage/utilization limits.
• Provides support to BCP of FMS and that all recovery time for all critical systems are within standards. All BCP gaps are addressed to ensure recovery procedures are effective.
• Provides support to all UAT activities required on system upgrades, enhancements or maintenance.
• Assist Department and Division heads in Access Matrix & Model on all applications and liaise with Infosec and ITG in ensuring completeness and compliance to policies.
• Act as liaison to ITG for FMS for all IT related concerns.
• Provides feedback to the Head of Treasury Operations and Support Division on issues concerning the department and recommends appropriate solutions for consideration.
• Ensures that established operating and control procedures are strictly implemented in the day-to-day activities of the division
• Assists the Division Head in the periodic review of operating and control procedures being observed in Treasury operations to be able to devise ways on how to further improve operational efficiency of the Division.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of any Information Technology course
- Very good analytical and communication skills.
- at least 5 years experience in Treasury operations
- Thorough knowledge of foreign exchange, structured products and derivatives transactions,
