Position Title: Track Lead


Job Summary:
 

  • Manages project activities impacting Release Management through the project software delivery life cycle (from requirements definition, requirements detailing, scope validation, construction, testing, through to deployment), under the direction of the Team Lead
  • Cascades direction from the Team Lead to people in the team: workload prioritization and assignment, functional recommendations, and communicating and enforcing team-established processes

Role Exposure:
 

  • Plans, prepares, and manages the activities of Release Management Section and ensures completion of deliverables according to the project timeline, working in collaboration with the system implementation vendor Functional Lead
  • Participates in meetings with business unit key stakeholders as needed, with the system implementation vendor, to drive completion of project deliverables for the new Core Banking system according to the project solution
  • Coordinates with the other related Project Teams and Tracks in all phases of the project to ensure that project deliverables are aligned in the new Core Banking System
  • Monitors changes to his track impacting the new Core Banking System throughout the project duration, and raise to the Team Lead any item that may need change request to be submitted
  • Participates in the project change control process by submitting any change requests, reviews and assesses impact to the Core Banking System solution, under direction of the Project Lead
  • Reports status, risks and issues impacting activities to the Team Lead and/or Deputy Team Lead in a timely manner
  • Provides recommendations for resolving issues and mitigating or avoiding risks
  • Performs people management activities as needed by the project
  • Performs other related functions that may be assigned from time to time

Qualifications:
 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology and/or equivalent
  • Has at least 8 to 10 years’ relevant experience)
  • Experience in people management required
