Job Summary:

 

Primarily responsible for ensuring Treasury Group’s adherence to legal and regulatory requirements. Formulates, reviews and facilitates implementation of policies and procedures, monitors regulatory developments affecting Treasury and markets, and coordinates with relevant business units.

 

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensures the proper establishment of policies and procedures in Treasury Group
  • Monitors regulatory developments which affects Treasury and Markets and provides feedback to the business unit heads
  • Collaborates with relevant business units to review, update, and implement Treasury-related policies and procedures. Ensures full compliance within Treasury Group
  • Serves as TG's primary liaison for audit engagements and related matters
  • Conducts regular checking of compliance processes within TG to ensure effectiveness and identifies areas for improvement
  • Conducts regular risk assessments to identify potential compliance issues and develops mitigation strategies.
  • Performs other related functions that may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Financial Management, Accountancy, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
  • With at least 3 years of relevant working experience and knowledge in financial markets operational or business risk
  • Excellent understanding of process, risk and control design concepts and governance
