Position Title: Vendor Management & Awards Officer

 

Job Summary:

 

  • Part of the Bidding Committee (BIDCOM) managerial and administrative team
  • Function as BIDCOM’s liaison arm and will be the main point of contact (POC) for selection and bidding of IT and NON IT  requests, vendor accreditation, vendor performance evaluation,  contract /maintenance & renewals
  • Become custodian of contracts and documents for BIDCOM approved projects

 

Role Exposures: 

 

  • Collaborate with various stakeholders from Program Management Division, Information Technology Group, Leadership Committee, Business Units, and Vendors
  • Formulate and document continuous improvement activities
  • Improve your  reporting, communication, and analytical skills

 Qualifications:
 

  • Bachelor’s Degree relevant to the job
  • Proficient in MS Office applications especially in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Has around 5 years’ experience in data mining and data analysis
  • Exposure in providing business strategy
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written (role will deal with management, business units, vendors)
  • Experience in IT / project management an advantage
  • With Legal background preferred to review Commercial contracts, but not required
