Position Title:  Collections MIS Officer

 

Job Summary

  • The jobholder manages production of regular and ad-hoc Management Information (MI) reports for Collections. Conducts studies and portfolio analysis and recommends actions to mitigate risk and control credit losses. Assists in MIS projects and development. 

 

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

  • MI Reports 

-Generate and develop MI report architectures using SAS/MS Office 

-Conduct ad-hoc analysis (segmentation, trending, cost-benefit) 

- Maintain report integrity 

- Prepare presentations and regulatory reports 

- Review team capacity plan and MI inventory 

  • Policies and Strategies 

- Assist in project development and monitoring 

- Ensure BCP and manuals are updated 

- Ensure compliance with policies and regulations

  • Staff Management 

- Oversee MI team activities and conduct meetings 

- Implement teambuilding activities 

- Ensure participation in company activities 

- Conduct performance reviews and feedback

 

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Statistics, Math, Computer Science preferred) 
  • At least 2 years experience in statistical reporting (bank/credit card preferred) 
  • At least 2 years people management experience 
  • Knowledgeable in SAS programming 
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint 
  • Knowledge in collection systems (PRIME, Tallyman) is an advantage
