Position Title: Corporate Affairs Officer – Events

Job Summary:

Ensures delivery of institutional and marketing events on time, within budget, and that meet/exceeds management and business unit expectations.

 

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

  • Get a clear understanding of the business and behavior of the target audience to ensure business requirements are covered
  • Handles all stages of events management:
  • Pre- Event conceptualization, creative planning, budget preparation, coordination
  • Onsite Execution and Operations
  • Post Event review
  • Responsible for setting, communicating and maintaining timelines and priorities on every project
  • Manages operational and administrative functions to ensure specific event projects are delivered efficiently and expenses are within if not lesser than budget
  • Work with the BUSM, IBM and Events Committee of the bank
  • Should be able to deliver other requirements of the team that will be assigned from time to time.

 

Qualifications:

  • Possess a minimum of 5-10 years of relevant work experience, preferably within the financial industry
  • Demonstrated expertise in conceptualizing events and a proven track record of effectively executing these events in alignment with the department's budget, timeline, and expectations
  • Proficiency in leveraging marketing tools and technologies to enhance event outcome
  • Exceptional project management skills, including the ability to coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills for successful vendor and sponsor relations
  • A creative mindset with a keen eye for detail, ensuring that events leave a lasting impression
  • Experience in post-event analysis and reporting to measure the impact and improve future strategies.
